Now We Wait

Tuesday (Dec 20th) was our transfer and everything went very smoothly! Both embryos thawed perfectly and the whole process was textbook.
Pictured above are our hatched embryos. Assisted hatching is a procedure where they can help the embryo “hatch” from its “shell” by creating a small crack in the egg. Assisted hatching helps start the process of embryo growth when it's implanted in the uterine wall. Pretty cool to see our possible future kid(s)!
Bre has been taking it very easy last night and today and so far feels normal. Because of the meds she takes before and during the whole process, she has normal early pregnancy symptoms already, but that's from the progesterone levels rising. We're essentially tricking her body into thinking it's pregnant before the transfer to help her body accept the embryo(s).
If you've been praying for us, please pray that one or both of the embryos implant and that we both have peace with whatever happens.
Now we wait. December 29th will determine if it was a success or not. Fingers crossed!
